Welcome to Liberty Bell XVIII

Time After Time

October 17-19, 2008
At the Sleep Inn/ MainStay Suites in King of Prussia, PA

Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see a preliminary mini-schedule.

Hi, DVMers and Friends of DVM,

Here's your personal invitation to register for the very best RG we can bring you!!! Our RG committee includes some great experienced people as well as some new faces, and we all want to welcome you!

Programs for the Time After Time RG are developing nicely! Our theme is historic (any epoch), pre-historic, and timeless. Come as you are and/or bring a costume, either themed historically or punny about time. Whether you're a DVMer, any M or guest of an M, a friend of DVM, regular attendee, or newcomer, come to Delaware Valley Mensa's RG. We will be delighted to see you!

Here are some program notes. Featured on Saturday night: Terrific and popular music duo "Once Upon a Full Moon Night" creates a coffee house/cabaret atmosphere for our listening pleasure! See onceuponafullmoonnight.com for a taste. We have lined up some great speakers and presenters: Anthony Dellaira on the writing of his published historical novel Joint Venture: the Paces of Jamestown about a teen-aged newlywed couple (his forbears) involved in the founding of Jamestown (you may remember his presentation from AG 2007); popular speaker and Blogger Patty Newbold on relationships and who to marry (See AssumeLove.com and EnjoyBeingMarried.com.); Dove chocolatier Tracy Tiberi; immensely creative origami artist Ben Fritzson; Maria Jacobs (owner of Valley Forge Dance School in King of Prussia) with a dance class for us; wonderful M Musician Don Slepian with his "Music for the Imagination" in the afternoon (see donslepian.com); and Elaine Brody's famous Wizard Trivia!

My notes on this page may be subject to some change, but the list of presenters is pretty definite. Possible additions include an Art Gardner Memorial Joke-Off, a play-reading, late-night movies, and even, perhaps, Karaoke! And lots more great surprises!

Some After-RG ideas - Valley Forge Park, Convention Center, King of Prussia Malls, or, with about an hour drive into Philadelphia, Center City, Independence Hall, etc.

Of course there are the Main Hospitality room and the smaller Hospitality cafe space; Dan Farrow (Gamesmeister Extraordinaire) and his great Games Room; hot tub and pool parties, exercise room, and lots more. King of Prussia super malls are nearby for mall-walk or shopping!

If you like, bring your best home-made dessert goodie for the Bake-Off competition. And remember, if you are so inclined, don't forget hats and costumes that are historical or punny about time!

Email me if you have questions at pathorsley@mac.com.

Come to our Biggest and Best Party of the Year!!!!!
